My wish

on Tanabata Matsuri (Star Festival) July 7, 2007

I wish all the beardies and dogs of the world would live happily and comfortably,
loving their humans and being loved and cared by their humans
till the very end of their lives.
I wish no beardies and dogs would ever feel loneliness, fear, pain, hunger, or thirst

because of the humans' neglect, greed, irresponsibility or stupidity.

I also wish my grandson Little John, who left us as a young pup, is happy up there

all cured and surrounded by his friends and relatives.

That's what I wish upon a star.
