When I want to borrow a pen from my friendAwhat should I say?

Choose the right expression out of @`C.

@    Sumimasen pen o kashite kudasai.

A    Sumimasen pen o karitekudasai.

B    Sumimasen pen o kashitemo iidesuka.

C    Sumimasen pen o karitemo iidesuka.

gTekudasaih expresses request. The speaker asks someone A to do something, so Afs action

comes before gtekudasai.h

gTemoiidesukah expresses permission. The speaker asks someone whether he/she can do something or not, so the speakerfs action comes before temoiidesuka.

Therefore correct answers are @ and C

In this case gtemoiidesukah sounds more polite than gtekudasaih

The following sentences are polite expressions to request.
